Newcomen Irish Heritage Accent Mug

The Newcomen name is of English origin, brought to Ireland during the seventeenth century and associated with the Protestant Ascendancy in Leinster. The family became prominent in County Dublin and County Louth, where they served as merchants, politicians, and landowners. Sir Thomas Newcomen, the notable Dublin banker of the early eighteenth century, is among the most recognised bearers of the name in Irish history.

This 11oz ceramic accent mug features the Newcomen family crest set against the Irish National Tartan, with a crisp white exterior and bold black handle and interior. Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, it makes a refined everyday piece and a thoughtful gift for anyone exploring their Newcomen ancestry.
